The Hope 35mm carbon fibre bars took a long time to appear, but it was certainly worth the wait! Like the 31.8mm bar, they are completely designed, tested and manufactured in Barnoldswick in the UK and are intended for trail and all-mountain use. Hope has used a completely new carbon laminate construction with a genuinely revolutionary new manufacturing technique.

These handlebars are even more compliant than the 31.8mm version, without sacrificing strength, giving greater feel and reduced vibration. Although designed for all-mountain use, Hope says that they have turned out stronger than a lot of the DH bars that they tested during development.

Coming in at 800mm these bars will be wide enough for practically everyone and there are a number of very precise and neat cut marks for you to use if required.

These bars would be a great choice if you value a quality, responsibly well-made product and would like to support UK manufacturing. They look worth every penny, will have a different feel characteristic to aluminium bars, and will also save some weigh over their metal counterparts.
